Our 2022 Organ Recital series concludes at 7pm on November 11th, with a recital given by Tom Bell – ‘The Best Experience’ – Victorian organ whimsy inspired by W. T. Best.

Tom Bell’s playing has been described as “invigorating” (Sunday Times), “compelling” (Organists’ Review) and “brilliant” (American Record Guide). Tom has built a vibrant portfolio encompassing work as a performer, recording artist, teacher and animateur.

Tom is Artistic Director of the London Organ Day, practices as an independent organ adviser, and until 2018 served as Organist and Choirmaster at St.Michael’s Chester Square in central London. He writes occasionally and amongst others his work has appeared in BBC Music Magazine and Organists’ Review. He was taught by Kevin Bowyer (Manchester, RNCM), Jacques van Oortmerssen (Amsterdam) and Ann Elise Smoot (London).
