Shrove Tuesday Celebrations
We welcome Fr Rajiv Sidhu as a curate with a special service, followed by pancake races, Caribbean food, and a quiz. If you would like to join us for any or all of these parts, please contact vicar@portseaparish.co.uk. The food will cost £3 per person, and to join in with the quiz will cost £2. Sherlock Holmes & the Mystery of the Panto!
Come and enjoy a traditional panto with members of the Parish enjoying themselves, and try to spot the clergy in disguise on stage. Performances are either at 14:30 or 19:00. A series of three evening masses on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Reflections on and the Liturgy of the Cross

St Mary’s Community May Fayre
We are very happy to announce the May Fayre will take place this year on the May Bank Holiday on 2nd May. The May Fayre is a celebration of life in Fratton taking place in the church and grounds. Each year around 10,000 visitors enjoy this event with its variety of attractions including a real ale tent, arena displays, a bouncy castle, bands, funfair rides and over 100 stalls. Labyrinth – A Spiritual Journey
Labyrinth is an immersive art installation at St Wilfrid’s church, which invites you to take a spiritual journey of the soul, from darkness to light. Designed by Rev. Mike Moritz, the Labyrinth is based on Walter Bruggeman’s interpretation of the Psalms, exploring doubt at God’s existence and the pain, complaint and lament expressed to God found there. Strawberry Tea and Tower Opening

This will be a very special service as Fr Rajiv presides over the Eucharist for the first time. Boer War Memorial Talk
Join us for a memorial talk, exploring the Boer War. The Organ Project history volunteers have been researching the 1901 pipe organ screen, which was gifted in memory of men lost in the Boer War.
