Requiem Mass for All Souls

Protecting Portsmouth’s Precious Environment Public Meeting
Stephen Morgan, the MP for Portsmouth South, is holding a public meeting to address local environmental issues. The aim of this meeting is to give constituents an opportunity to hear from a panel of experts about issues such as flood protection, water quality, the impact of sewage discharges on wildlife in the Solent, and most importantly how the community can get involved. Christmas Carols and Music
Join the Portsmouth Choral Union, Hampshire County Youth Orchestra, and their conductor for the evening, David Gostick, for a spectacular night of festive music with over 100 talented young people. Community Carol Singing
Join us as we bring light to the darkness by carol singing around the Parish, starting at St Mary’s Church
CANCELLED: The Royal Marines School of Music’s Concert
Unfortunately this event has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, we apologise for any inconvenience caused. The annual Christmas Concert held by The Royal Marines School of Music in their 2022/23 season of concerts. Tickets are available at the door, or you can telephone the Royal Marines School of Music Office to book tickets on 02392 726181.
Churches Homeless Action Carols
A celebration of Christmas and the distribution of vouchers collected via local churches & groups to agencies who will be supporting those in need over the Christmas season. A chance for us to share a ‘gift’ with others, this year being the 20th year of our Comfort and Joy campaign!
Reindeer Drive
A beetle drive with a seasonal difference to raise funds for Hope into Action. Tickets cost £2.50.

A Blue Christmas
Blue Christmas offers a simple, quiet service, with readings and carols. This is an opportunity for anyone who wants space to sit and be, acknowledging the pain and emptiness that many can feel at this time of year. There will be an opportunity to talk to others over refreshments afterwards.
The Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols

Nativity Service
The Christmas story is told by the parish’s children and young people, as we celebrate the sharing of the greatest gift.

Portsea Parish Panto: Little Red Riding Hood
Come and enjoy Little Red Riding Hood, a traditional panto, performed by members of the Parish, including the clergy! There will be a matinee showing at 2.30pm and an evening performance at 7pm. A family ticket, for 2 adults and 2 children, costs £10, an adult’s ticket costs £4, and tickets for those under 16 costs £2. Join us as we celebrate Shrove Tuesday with Pancake Races, a Caribbean Meal, and a Family Quiz!
