Mothers Union Concert at St Wilfrid’s
A concert of popular music given by Becki Short. She will sing songs from the shows, popular classics and lead a 40s sing-along. Tickets are £2.50 which includes refreshments. Money raised will go to help the work of AFIA (Away from it All) and the Parish Mothers Union.

Mandela 100 Food and Cultural Event at St Mary’s
African Women’s Forum is hosting this Community Picnic, diverse food, and African cultural performances at St Mary’s in the Church yard. An opportunity for interested young people to come and see what it is like to be in the Choir at St Mary’s, hear about what is involved and meet other young choristers.

Anglican Society for Animal Welfare Harvest Workshop at St Mary’s
Caring for the Marine Environment A special weekend focusing on the importance of caring for our Marine environment. A HALF DAY CONFERENCE ON SATURDAY 6TH OCTOBER WITH GUEST SPEAKERS: Tim Ferrero – Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust Robert Sluka – A Rocha International and Professor Meric Srokosz – National Oceanography Centre – Southampton With light refreshments and the opportunity for questions and answers.
Harvest Services at all Three Churches
A chance to thank God for the gifts of creation and to share those gifts with others and hosting the Anglican Society for the Welfare of Animals for Animal Welfare Sunday.
