Choir Rehearsal at St Mary’s Church

The Organ Project Recital given by Sachin Gunga at St Mary’s
Our 2019 Organ Recital series continues with a recital given by Sachin Gunga (Sub-Organist, Portsmouth Cathedral). Please do join us for a glass of wine and listen to the fantastic Walker organ in St Mary’s Church, Portsea. The recitalist in the organ loft is relayed instantaneously to a large screen which makes for gripping viewing! Harvest Services at all Three Churches
A chance to thank God for the gifts of creation which we enjoy every day and to think about how we can share those gifts with others. Service starts at 10am at St Mary’s. Service starts 9:30am at St Wilfrid’s and St Faith’s.

Deanery Confirmation Service
The whole Parish come together to join Bishop Christopher as he confirms candidates from St James Milton as well as those from our Parish. There will be no morning Eucharist service at St Faith’s nor St Wilfrid’s this Sunday.

Annual Music Foundation Concert at St Mary’s
Featuring St Mary’s Choir and Foundation Young Musicians, admission is free with retiring collection in aid of the St Mary’s Music Foundation, which supports young people from the area in developing their musical skills.
St Mary’s Autumn Fayre
Support the work of the Church as it seeks to raise funds to support its work in the area. Traditional stalls for bric-a-brac, cakes, books and crafts; independent stall holders offering a range of crafts and other goods; refreshments; games; a raffle etc, and a chance to visit this splendid historic Church building.

A service at which we remember and pray for those we have loved who have died. At this service the Choir will sing parts of the Requiem Mass with music from “A Short Requiem” by Walford Davies and “Pro Defunctis” by Brian Moles.
