Coffee Morning at St Wilfrid’s Church
A morning of coffee, cake and chat to raise money.
Fratton Family Festival
The Fifth Festival celebrating life in Fratton, organised by Fratton Big Local. Live music, activities and entertainment for all ages. The festival is held at the Southern end of Fratton Road.
Light Lunch to support Roberts Centre at St Wilfrid’s Church
A chance to enjoy a light lunch. The money raised will be used to support the Roberts Centre. Lunch costs £2.50 and usually consists of soup (with a vegetarian option), a bread and cheese main followed by a pudding.
Messy Harvest morning at St Wilfrid’s
A morning exploring our Harvest using music, art, craft, play and ending with a free lunch.
Harvest Services at all Three Churches
A chance to thank God for the gifts of creation which we enjoy every day and to think about how we can share those gifts with others. Service starts at 10am at St Mary’s. Service starts 9:30am at St Wilfrid’s and St Faith’s.
Parish Harvest Supper at St Mary’s
You are invited to join members of the Parish in a Harvest Supper – a ploughman’s meal – and entertainment provided by members of the churches and a ‘surprise’ item by the clergy and ministers of the 3 churches. Tickets are £2.50 – available from the churches or phone 023 9281 4444.
Macmillan Coffee Morning at St Wilfrid’s
A coffee morning held on behalf of the Macmillan Trust.
Deanery Confirmation Service
The whole Parish come together to join Bishop Christopher as he confirms candidates from St James Milton as well as those from our Parish. There will be no morning Eucharist service at St Faith’s nor St Wilfrid’s this Sunday.
Choir Open Evening for Young People
An opportunity for interested young people to come and see what it is like to be in the Choir at St Mary’s, hear about what is involved and meet other young choristers.

Royal Marines School of Music Concert at St Mary’s
A concert held by the Royal Marine School of Music at the Church. The 2nd of their 2019/2020 season of concerts at St Mary’s. Tickets available at the door, or telephone the Royal Marines School of Music Office to book tickets on 02392 726181.

Coffee, Chat, Cakes and a chance to raise funds, and to begin to mark the celebrations for St Faith’s Day (October 6th).
St Faith’s Patronal Mass

Annual Music Foundation Concert at St Mary’s
Featuring St Mary’s Choir and Foundation Young Musicians, admission is free with retiring collection in aid of the St Mary’s Music Foundation, which supports young people from the area in developing their musical skills.
St Mary’s Autumn Fayre
Support the work of the Church as it seeks to raise funds to support its work in the area. Traditional stalls for bric-a-brac, cakes, books and crafts; independent stall holders offering a range of crafts and other goods; refreshments; games; a raffle etc, and a chance to visit this splendid historic Church building.

Choral Requiem Mass for All Souls at St Mary’s
A service at which we remember and pray for those we have loved who have died. At this service the Choir will sing parts of the Requiem Mass with music from “A Short Requiem” by Walford Davies and “Pro Defunctis” by Brian Moles.

A procession of lanterns and light through Fratton ending with entertainment in the Church. Fratton Big Local helping Fratton to shine. Weather permitting the procession will leave the Royal British Legion Club at Fratton Bridge at 6.00pm and should arrive at St Mary’s by 6.30pm. Nativity Service at St Mary’s
The Christmas story is told by our children and young people as we celebrate the sharing of the greatest gift. With carols and music accompanied by the Choir. Any children who wish to take part in the drama should arrive by 4pm for dress rehearsal.
