Patronal Festival Mass at St Wilfrid’s Church
A celebration of the life of the Church of St Wilfrid’s. The service will be followed by refreshments. Guest Preacher: Rev’d Allie Kerr, Vicar of St Cuthbert’s. Anthem: Holy is the True Light – Harris.
Light Lunch at St Wilfrid’s Church
A chance to enjoy a light lunch. The money raised will be used to support the Church. Lunch costs £2.50 and usually consists of soup (with a vegetarian option), a bread and cheese main followed by a pudding.
Annual Music Foundation Concert at St Mary’s
Featuring St Mary’s Choir and Foundation Young Musicians, admission is free with retiring collection in aid of the St Mary’s Music Foundation, which supports young people from the area in developing their musical skills.
St Mary’s Autumn Fayre
Support the work of the Church as it seeks to raise funds to support its work in the area. Traditional stalls for bric-a-brac, cakes, books and crafts; independent stall holders offering a range of crafts and other goods; refreshments; games; a raffle etc, and a chance to visit this splendid historic Church building.

Fratton Big Local Festival of Lights at St Mary’s
A procession of lanterns and light through Fratton ending with entertainment in the Church. Fratton Big Local helping Fratton to shine. Weather permitting the procession will leave the Royal British Legion Club at Fratton Bridge at 6.00pm and should arrive at St Mary’s by 6.30pm. This probably won’t come as a huge surprise but the Royal Marines have decided to postpone their concert next week, scheduled for St. Mary’s Church on Thursday 26 March 2020. This is a postponement rather than a cancellation. At some point they plan to perform this concert.
