Parish Mass for the Transfiguration
A celebration of the occasion when Jesus appeared in all his glory to his disciples on a mountain top. The service will also be a service of thansgiving for Revd Sue’s ministry. There will only be a said services at St Mary’s at 8am and 10am that morning, and no service at St Faith’s or St Wilfrid’s. With the Choir of St Mary’s: Holy is the True Light – Harris.

All who have been bereaved are welcome to join us as we remember by name those who have died and bring to God our prayers for them and ourselves. With the Choir of St Mary’s: God Be in My Head – Rutter.

Nativity Service at St Faith’s
The children retell the Story of Christmas, with carols and candlelight. The service is followed by tea and cakes. Children who wish to take part in the drama should arrive by 3.30pm to get into their costumes.

A traditional choral service providing the opportunity for space, stillness and reflection in the beautiful space that is St Mary’s, Fratton. Parish Mass at St Mary’s
There is a Mass at St Mary’s for the whole Parish this Sunday to say farewell to Wendy-May as she takes up her curacy in Fareham. There will be no mass at St Faith’s nor at St Wilfrid’s. At noon there is The Great Get Together Picnic in Kingston Rec and celebration of the new play area. It starts with a procession from the Fratton Community Centre.
